The Confidence Cult
Friday | 9:00am - 10:45am PT
Led by Professor Maya
Do you keep your opinions to yourself unless you’re sure you have something worthy to say? Do you doubt your skills or experiences, even ruminating over a past mistake? Have you missed out on opportunities, whether it’s public speaking or professional advancement because you thought you might fail? The answer to these questions has to do with self-confidence, what is it, how do we get it and the hurdles to building it.
The first half of the seminar focuses on external and structural factors that negatively influence women’s confidence. The second half of the seminar explores the internal hurdles to our self-confidence along with science-backed strategies we can employ in our personal and professional lives.
